Dr. Howard Schutzman received his DVM in 1981 from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Schutzman decided on a career in veterinary medicine while still in grade school. In 1986 he and his partner, Dr. Arnold Gutlaizer, founded Broadway Veterinary Associates and opened practices in Oakland and Antioch. As a veterinarian, Dr. Schutzman finds the challenge of difficult cases most rewarding and is dedicated to offering all clients the highest level of care and service. Dr. Schutzman enjoys travel, reading, basketball, backgammon and spending time with his family. Dr. Schutzman and his wife live in Alamo with their three teenage children, two dogs and two cats. |

Dr. Jennifer Boyle received her DVM from the University of California at Davis in 1995 and has been a staff veterinarian with Antioch Veterinary Hospital since 1995. Raised in Petaluma, California, Dr. Boyle made the decision to become a veterinarian at the age of 10 after her beloved dog passed away. Dr. Boyle finds working with animals and improving their quality of life extremely rewarding. She lives in Oakley with her husband Tom, their two young children, her 13 year old cat, Bubba and two pomeranians - Taz & Pebbles. When she manages to get some free time she enjoys scrapbooking, cake decorating and jigsaw puzzles. |

Dr. Nichole Boutilier grew up in Belleville, Illinios and first expressed an interest in being a veterinarian when she was only 5 years old. By the time she was 18 and ready to pursue a career, it was set. Dr. Boutilier attended Sacramento State and went on to earn her DVM at the University of Illinois in 2000. She joined the staff at Antioch Veterinary Hospital in 2000. Dr. Boutilier, finds being a veterinarian very rewarding because she loves "always learning new things and every patient is wonderful!" In her spare time she enjoys a game of tennis, a trip to the gym and scrapbooking. Her favorite vacation is Disneyland. Dr. Boutilier and her husband Chris share their Brentwood home with their 1 year old son, 9 cats, 3 dogs and 4 fish tanks. |

Dr. Ken Gonsier decided on a career as a veterinarian at age 10. He grew up in New Jersey and received a BA from Dartmouth and then earned his DVM from the University of California at Davis Vet School in 1989. He joined Antioch Veterinary Hospital that same year. Dr. Gonsier finds helping people and patients especially rewarding. He thoroughly enjoys hiking with his family and loves coaching his daughter's basketball team. He and his wife, Lisa, have been married for over 22 years and have two beautiful daughters and two cats. |

Dr. Rosemary Panduro earned her DVM from the University of California at Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She joined the staff at Antioch Veterinary Hospital in 2001 and has found that for her, helping animals and educating their owners is the most rewarding part of being a veterinarian. Dr. Panduro enjoys meeting new people and learning new things. Her hobbies include salsa dancing, shopping and traveling. She and her husband Gregory, an airline pilot, and their daughter, born last year, share their home with two dogs, Geezer and Cosmo Kramer; and two cats, Travis and Boo Boo. |

Dr. Tamara Borland earned her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. She grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania, where she fostered her early interest in veterinary medicine working at a local animal hospital, beginning at the age of 12. Prior to veterinary school, she attended Boston College and pursued an English degree in addition to her pre-veterinary curriculum. Dr. Borland feels honored to be able to help people and the animals they love. She is inspired by the ever-changing climate of veterinary medicine and enjoys ensuring that every patient recieves the highest quality of care. After moving here from the snowy east coast, Dr. Borland has been grateful for the sunny warmth of the Bay Area. In her spare time, she likes to frequent museums and art exhibitions. She also enjoys reading poetry and literature, watching independent and foreign films, discovering new restaurants, and going to the theatre. |
